New Project Manager Brings Wood Frame Experience and Military Leadership to Help Customers Defeat Hardware Complexity

CLP Systems is pleased to announce a new addition to our Project Management team. Blake Young has recently joined CLP Systems as a new Assistant Project Manager working out of Pelham, AL.

Blake brings 3+ years’ of experience in the wood frame residential construction industry, most recently as an assistant superintendent with a local contractor in Birmingham, AL. Before beginning a career in construction, he served our country as an Infantry Squad Leader in the Marines, where he completed two deployments.  Blake also completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His invaluable education and military experience has helped Blake gain a good sense of self-discipline that directly relates to construction management. Blake’s quality experiences with working in a team environment and learned ability to adapt to changing situations will prove to be vital in support to customers trying to defeat hardware complexity.  These skills and experiences he has learned along the way have allowed him to pursue a more hands on role with CLP Systems. When asked what brought him to CLP Systems, Blake had to say:

“CLP has an excellent reputation in the industry and is set to have a lot of growth in the near future. CLP’s culture of developing people also attracted me to the company.”

When Blake is not helping customers overcome their challenges on the job-site he likes to be keeping up will all the current sporting events. He also enjoys mountain biking and road cycling.

Congratulations Blake! We are excited to have you on the CLP Team.
