CLP is spotlighting Chris Butzen. He was added to the project management team about three months ago! Chris graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. in Construction Management and spent 10 years as a field superintendent where he supervised multi-family residential construction and military construction projects. Chris managed every part of the construction process from site work to walking with the owner, and spent a lot of time with framing and rough hardware where he gained experience in making sure plans were built correctly and conflicts were identified and addressed before they became issues.
Chris was familiar with CLP from his previous work and said CLP’s “level of knowledge, professionalism and customer service is unmatched.” He is excited about being part of CLP because he likes the relaxed atmosphere and forward-thinking philosophy that promotes professional and personal growth. He said, “I have spent most of my career in the field and was lacking a lot of the front-end experience on a job. This company allows me to become a more well-rounded construction professional. There is a lot of upswing at CLP and possibilities for growth.” Chris’s depth of experience and field perspective make him a great addition to the project management team.
Outside the office Chris enjoys cold weather, playing cards, board games and trivia games and is an avid Chicago Bears fan.
