CLP Systems welcomes Kyle Cofer to our engineering team! Kyle has always been curious about how things work and how buildings stay standing, which naturally led him to the construction and engineering industry. Kyle graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Civil Engineering, where he studied construction management, design and Building Information Modeling. Kyle also completed a successful internship at CLP Systems in conjunction with his coursework.
While he is interested in all aspects of construction and engineering, he specializes in estimating and anchor design. Kyle enjoys estimating because “with estimating, I get to see the jobs before the designers, and I have the opportunity to get ahead of potential problems that we would encounter on a job, such as anchor capacities.” Kyle’s proactive approach, as well as his experience with BIM and AutoCAD, make him a great asset to our CLP team.
When not solving problems before they occur, Kyle keeps up with his favorite teams – the Auburn Tigers, Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators and Atlanta Braves – and enjoys football, baseball and hockey.
