Happy National Women’s History Month from CLP Systems!
We are excited to celebrate the month and all of the women in our work and life by recognizing the incredibly powerful women that work with CLP Systems. Today, we are recognizing Maria Luckey!
Maria was born in Mexico and raised in California. She and her husband and four lovely children made the move to the Birmingham area just over 8 years ago. Currently, Maria is working to finish her Human Resource Management degree in order to aid her years of microcomputer accounting and human resource experience. She also has extensive leadership experience and enjoys working as a youth and adult ministry leader at Rhema Word Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama.
Maria began working with Vulcan Steel Products in early 2017 as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant, and soon was offered an Administrative Assistant position with CLP Systems and began working. She enjoys her daily responsibilities of CRM line invoicing, answering incoming customer calls, labor invoicing, purchase orders, and so much more! When asked what the most rewarding part about her job was she responded that ” I enjoy the flexibility of the workflow and I am most proud of the opportunity given to learn and help in streamlining the work processes at CLP Systems”.
As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Maria had to say, ” Both men and woman like to be part of and see projects being built. As a woman, I enjoy building positive rapport with management, co-workers and customers”.
