Since 2015, CLP Systems has been investing time and effort into developing relationships with structural engineers and architects in Canada. With the help of these relationships and customers, we are excited to release the Canadian Limited States Design values for the CLP System.
Where conventional shear wall holdowns and strapping are being specified and used, the addition of CLP has been an important addition and an improved holdown option for those getting into the design and construction of four, five, and six floor wood frame buildings. The CLP System creates a “continuous load path” which offers a predictable and structurally sound solution that is safer, easier, and more cost effective than conventional hardware.
